Visit to the Project Saudades da Terra

Last week, a friend and associate of this Association, the emigrant Filomeno Jorge from Pico Island and emigrant in British Columbia, Canada, was visiting the Project “Saudades da Terra”. He is a person who greatly helped in the accomplishment of the homage project about Portuguese Joe “Shore to Shore” in 2015.

Filomeno Jorge is already collaborating with the project Saudades da Terra and has already made its sponsorship with the acquisition of a brick that will be part of the mural of this Square, where a personalized message will be registered in this cultural framework. He will continue his collaboration with the project following the dissemination of this Square with friends and acquaintances in his community.
