O globo Saudades da Terra foi montado na manh\u00e3 desta quarta-feira, dia 15 de abril de 2020, no centro da Pra\u00e7a do Emigrante, que continua a ser constru\u00edda em bom ritmo, apesar das contig\u00eancias provocadas pela pandemia.
\nConcebido por Lu\u00eds Silva, o globo, com 4 metros de di\u00e2metro, integralmente revestido com pedra de cal\u00e7ada portuguesa, entrar\u00e1 agora em fase de acabamentos.
\nEntretanto, iniciar-se-\u00e1 a calcetagem do desenho Shore To Shore, da autoria do artista nativo canadiano Luke Marston, descendente de Portuguese Joe, ocupando um raio de 5 metros \u00e0 volta da base do globo.
\nEm fase de conclus\u00e3o est\u00e1 a Cal\u00e7ada dos Mundos, da autoria de Liliana Lopes, que preenche toda a faixa sul da pra\u00e7a, com uma \u00e1rea aproximada de metade de um campo de futebol, na zona do Monte Verde, na cidade da Ribeira Grande, Ilha de S\u00e3o Miguel (A\u00e7ores).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"

The Saudades da Terra globe was assembled this Wednesday morning (April 15, 2020) in the center of Emigrant Square. The team keeps the construction of the square going at a good pace, despite the contingencies caused by the
