The construction of the Pra\u00e7a do Emigrante, in the Monte Verde area, in the city of Ribeira Grande (S\u00e3o Miguel island, Azores), is proceeding at the expected pace, despite the inconveniences of the coronavirus pandemic affecting all of us.
The basalt base and the metallic spike are ready to receive the Saudades da Terra giant globe, designed by Lu\u00eds Silva. Meanwhile, the pavers continue their work on the Cal\u00e7ada dos Mundos, allowing for a glimpse of the final effect of the design conceived by Liliana Lopes.
If the evolution of the pandemic does not impose rescheduling, the inauguration of Pra\u00e7a do Emigrante will occur on July 26, 2020 (Sunday).","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
